Q: Can you translate my document? What are your specializations?
A: Every document is different. Please contact me through email to inquire. My email address is cecilia@indonesian-translation.com.

In the past, I have translated a number of texts in different fields, including annual reports, websites, manuals related to children’s reflexes and brain, education-related texts, health questionnaire, restaurant advertisement, product descriptions, and mobile phone applications. I am also interested in texts related to food and nutrition, cosmetics and beauty products, cultures, and languages.

In general, I usually do not translate official documents, scientific texts, and legal texts, such as MoU and agreements.

Q: How much do you charge?
A: My translation rates vary depending on the texts. I tailor my rates according to the complexity of the texts and the format of the texts (for example: typed text or scanned text).

Q: How long will it take to translate my document?
A: This depends on the word count and the complexity of your document. Please email me to confirm directly.

Q: Are you a sworn translator? Do I need a sworn translator for my document?
A: No, I am not a sworn translator. I am a certified translator. There is a difference between the two.

In Indonesian context, sworn translators are translators who have the abilities to translate legal texts. Each of them had taken an oath.

In my humble opinion, clients in Indonesia do not need to use sworn translation services, unless they want to get legal texts and official documents (for example: birth certificate and academic transcript) translated. 

Q: My document is confidential. Can I trust you?
A: Yes. I have worked with several international translation clients and they usually ask me to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) or a contract, especially for huge volume of work. If you prefer this, please let me know.
